QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

We say 'from conception to natural death' , and whether it is preventing the free flow of abortion pills or respecting the dignity of those disabled or terminal, we must always advocate for the value of life and provide them the resources they need, rather than push for their death.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Even when these centers may not be offering abortions at a particular location, they do everything they can to promote a culture of death. They do NOT offer health services to women, and we must continually point out their hypocrisy.

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Again, all our babies deserve the gift of life, and we should do everything to facilitate that. Any health care provider who refuses to acknowledge their duty, their Hippocratic oath, and does not try to save this life should be prosecuted.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The law we have in Indiana allows for exceptions, exceptions for lethal fetal anomaly, life of the mother and rape or incest. However, I voted , in 2022, for no exceptions, and I will continue to work towards that end. It broke my heart to not be able to vote for a better 'pro-life' bill, to save more babies, when we had such a pro-life caucus. I also know that the fight against the abortion pill is only going to be more difficult. So we ALL must push our legislators to continue to fight for EVERY life and strive to remove these exceptions, because ALL LIFE MATTERS.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Obergefell was wrongly decided and should be overturned. Strong marriages, those which are the union of one man and one woman, are good for society and children.

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Our founders recognized our right to exercise our faith and protecting those rights to worship, follow our conscious and carry our our faith in the public square is critically important.

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

Judeo-Christian values have been the bedrock of the Western world for centuries. I believe Christians must be protected as they live their faith.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The Founders determined our nation would not have a national religion, but they did not prohibit the influence of faith and people of faith in government. Too often the left uses this phrase, "separation of church and state" as a weapon against Christians.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

President Trump has made our military and our foreign policy strong again, particularly by remembering that we are training war fighters, and not performing a social experiment when it comes to confused gender roles or pursuing DEI policies within the military.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

Obamacare was a massive expansion of government and an example of government growing bigger when it shouldn't have.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Every year for four years straight I have introduced and passed a health care bill dubbed "I-ACHE," Increasing Access to Care for Hoosiers Everywhere. I believe our policies can reduce regulatory burdens and increase transparency and affordability for patients.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

No, government should remove as many barriers as possible, rules and regulations, that prevent the individual from succeeding.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

That is what make the USA unique, our free market state, and the ability for one to build their own wealth.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

We have may options for children to go to college, but it is a choice, whether a child joins the military, learns a trade, or attends college after high school. Education beyond K-12 should not be on the taxpayer's dime.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Entitlements at the state and federal level are unsustainable. These programs were meant to be safety nets, not permanent sources of income. We need to tighten eligibility and do a better job of preventing fraud.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. should pursue a wall and other border security measures made possible by technology to ensure illegal aliens are not flooding our nation and destroying our national sovereignty.

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

I am the lead author on the IN FAIRNESS Act, an immigration enforcement bill that ensures Indiana is doing its part on the state level to address public entities that thwart our immigration law. This law specifically addresses rogue cities and universities who would like to ignore the law.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those who follow the rules and who will embrace our American values and be productive members of our republic.

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Yes, with proper training and safe care of the firearm. The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

I have taken a lot of flack for this position, but I absolutely do not want to see an expansion of recreational marijuana

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Pro-life legislation 2. Health care legislation 3. Reduce or eliminate regulations and decrease the size of government.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Sharia law is not compatible with our U.S. Constitution and Western values.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in limited government and adherence to the Constitution. I've fought to help Hoosiers keep more money in their pockets. I'm considered the most vocal pro-life advocate at the Statehouse.

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Being a stay-at-home mom of seven and managing a family budget showed me the importance of living within ones' means and being frugal. I also took an active interest in my children's education as they were growing up, serving as a substitute teacher and on parochial school boards at various levels. I've been connected with healthcare for years and have a keen interest in making healthcare more afforable and accessible, without government substidies. With my mediation practice, I learned skills to help parties work together and communication, which is critical to pursue at the Statehouse.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I passed a Parental Rights bill in 2025 because parental rights come from God, not government. I passed a bill requiring age verification for adult websites to protect innocent children and I've also sought to protect children from harmful effects of social media.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Our founders designed our government and wrote our Constitution for a people with Judeo-Christian values. This is why it is necessary to teach the history of Western society and share our values with young people.

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I was the main author on a bill this year to define "sex" and "gender" within Indiana code based on biological sex.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a lifelong, practicing Roman Catholic who recognizes our rights come from God, not government. My faith directs my policy positions as we seek to protect the dignity of human life, support natural marriage, and defend our religious liberty, among others.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

We've seen how this is a disaster in MN. Here in Indiana, we have much more stringent voter laws and other states should look to our example.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

We must protect the Electoral College!

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No; but elevating DEI policies over common sense is a domestic security threat. For example, when it comes to our military might, I want the best people defending our nation. They should not be put in a position because they check some box.
