Man is born with a corrupted nature due to Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden and unless the federal government is restricted by the supreme law of the land it will become all consuming of every facet of life in these United States.

1. Sound money requires a gold standard so that the value of the U.S. dollar will be preserved and not devalued over time. 2. The federal government should be required by a constitutional amendment to balance its budget every year without exception so that it does not continue to run trillion dollar deficits year after year after year. 3. The 16th amendment should be repealed and the income tax replaced with a national sales tax. This would improve economic growth, savings, and worker productivity.
