OTHER INFORMATION
QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
None
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I believe in lower taxes. I support lowering taxes anytime and anyplace we can. For example, I have sponsored legislation that will remove the double tax on seniors' social security benefits.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
My faith informs every decision I make. Everything I do is based on and influenced by my commitment of faith. I have fought to protect the church and religious or conservative nonprofit organizations from being attacked and unfairly targeted by government officials, including the IRS.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I believe decisions regarding vaccinations should be between an individual and their doctor, not the result of a government mandate.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We are a nation of laws and Islamic terrorism defies these laws. I have and will continue to support legislation that recognizes the threat posed by Islamic terrorism and holds those that perpetrate such attacks accountable.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
I have supported and advocated for the construction of a border wall. I fought alongside President Trump to introduce, cosponsor and support legislation that would secure our border and require construction of a wall. Under President Biden, I've taken a series of actions, including introducing legislation that would reverse his failed policies and force him to secure our border and finish building the wall.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We are a nation of laws and immigrants must follow the law. I have co-sponsored legislation that would reform our immigration process to establish a skills-based system, refocus family-sponsored immigration on spouses and minor children, eliminate the Diversity Visa Program and limit the number of refugees admitted annually.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and my Lord and Savior. I believe in servant leadership and am committed to serving my constituents with humility and integrity. My life and record illustrate my conservative values and I work every day to protect life, empower families and promote conservative principles. I treat everyone with kindness and respect and have never used political attack ads to win election.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I vehemently opposed the Democrat’s H.R. 1 so-called “For the People Act” to rig our elections system to benefit politicians, federal bureaucrats, and special interests. The U.S. Constitution places election processes, including registration requirements, voting timelines, the process of absentee or mail-in-ballots, and more under the jurisdiction of state lawmakers. I have and continue to encourage state legislative leaders to take a hard look at their elections laws and process and make the changes necessary to ensure secure and honest elections – which should include strong voter ID requirements, registration, and ballot request laws. I have also met with our local elections supervisors as well regarding securing our elections processes.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, and the rationale that we must restructure our system of government and law around "theories" that one race are "victims" and other "oppressors" on the basis of their skin color is dangerous and overtly racist. I believe everyone should be treated with kindness and respect and that we should all seek to serve others, not ourselves. Unkindness and hatred cannot coexist with a focus on serving others.”
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. I have advocated for responsible, commonsense policies that preserve and protect our country's precious natural resources while balancing the needs of our growing economy.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I apply my knowledge and experience as an electrical engineer, small business owner, and time spent with hardworking Floridians in my district to tackle the challenges of Americans. I believe in the ingenuity of American workers and small business owners and my record proves it. I've fought to remove unnecessary government red tape that stifles innovation and kills jobs. I prioritize serving my constituents with integrity, including assisting them with issues involving federal agencies. Working on behalf of constituents in my district, my office has gotten more than $15 million returned to them from the VA, Social Security, Medicare, and IRS in compensation, pension or retroactive payments.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I am opposed to laws and regulations that would restrict law-abiding citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights. Existing laws already require extensive background checks and have guardrails for safe gun sales and distribution.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
