Elective abortions should always be allowed. A woman's bodily autonomy should not be abridged.

What is your position on the minimum wage?
The minimum wage interferes with private negotiations between employer and employee. It is economically destructive to markets. It kills jobs. I am against this interference.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The separation of church and state means that government and its massive power cannot consider religion as a factor in any of its activities. It cannot give preference. It cannot give deference. All rights must be defended for all individuals regardless of their religion (or lack thereof).
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Business interactions must remain voluntary transactions between the consumer and the business so long as they do not violate the civil rights of an individual.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
(D) over time. People should have the option to opt out of Medicare, but should have access if they have been forced to fund the system over a lifetime. Medicaid should be defunded slowly over years so that private institutions have time to build up to replace it. The best thing we can do for people is to allow a fully-private health care ecosystem to grow.
The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

I am not against databases or keeping track of expenses. That's what responsible organizations do. But the tracking must be done with patient opt-in, as nobody should be tracked by the government without their consent.

Yes, the Chinese Communist Party is a serious threat. We must especially guard against military incursions from China. But Let's not extrapolate that to the Chinese people who suffer under it. Let's not demonize products from China and its hardworking people, which products enhance the lives of all of us. People all over the world benefit from trade with China.

The United States' relationship with Israel is as important as with any other country and no more.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

We should be a sanctuary country. No human is illegal. Only those who initiate acts of violence or fraud, as with any person in the United States, should be prosecuted by the government.

We have a robust private and commercial system for verifying the identities of users. Government should use the best technology available to enable legal voting with minimal hurdles. I would empower technologists to make that possible, so that no person is disenfranchised and election integrity is preserved.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

I believe man-made climate change is a global threat. The science should be done and constantly updated. However, governments should guard against premature actions and disproportionate responses.

Nuclear power provides the most reliable energy. I have not seen any science that disputes the fact. But there are many viable energy sources and governments shouldn't go "all in" on one.

What should be the goal of the criminal justice system?
To protect the civil liberties of all and rehabilitate those who violate them without endangering the innocent.
Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

The primary protectors of children will always be parents and guardians. The government also must play a role when it becomes aware of sexual exploitation.
Sharia law should not be accepted or incorporated in any form within the legal framework of the United States.
