15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

I believe is was more historically significant events than human nature, that led the founders to craft the Constitution as such. They had studied failed empires, revolutions, and observed the disastrous effects of greed and power consolidation at the expense of the governed. This was their solution to combat that problem.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

Healthcare: Why is it so expensive in our country, when other countries spend half as much per capita and have a better healthcare systems? see "Mirror, Mirror on the Wall" published by the Commonwealth Fund July 2014. Renewable energy sources: My generation is approaching a crisis when it comes to energy. Gasoline prices are rising, pollution is rising, more and more people are being afflicted with conditions such as asthma, electric costs are rising, oil spills, pipeline bursts, some fracking and mining operations are creating ever more favorable conditions for earthquakes . . . there has to be a better way. A lot of us live differently now than the older generations. Our American dream has evolved and we would like to incorporate new energy sources and technologies in that future. A Balanced Budget: There are so many problems that need fixing but we can't afford to find any solutions to those problems because we are using our money inefficiently or outright wasting it.
