At the mother's discretion when the mother's life is in imminent danger if the pregnancy continues, for example in an ectopic pregnancy.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The sinful nature of mankind causes a thirst for power; power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Jesus is my Savior and my Redeemer; I owe everything to Him. I believe the top two commandments are to love God and love people; this is what drives me. I believe every individual has intrinsic value and worth because God created him or her.

Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My website at www.Elizabeth4State.com explains my positions on many things, particularly protecting water and property rights, education, lower taxes, and the right to keep and bear arms. In addition, washingtonvotes.org shows my voting record for the years 2013-2017 when I served the 39th Legislative District as a State Representative. I consistently voted against higher taxes and fees and the growth of government, voted against taxpayer-funded college scholarships for people here illegally, and voted against all budgets that included taxpayer funding for abortions. I sponsored bills to protect life beginning at conception, bills to protect minorities and women, bills to give parents more control over their children's education, and bills to increase accountability of government. I am also active on Facebook where you can see the type of posts and comments I make on many issues; my facebook page can easily be accessed through my website.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Lower taxes, decrease regulations, streamline government.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Support bills that would allow shopping for insurance across state lines to increase competition which would bring down cost; decrease mandates, allow tort reform, allow smorgasbord insurance so people can select the coverage they need (these would all bring down the cost), and increase portability so people can take their insurance with them when they change jobs (this would increase access).
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government should get out of the way; lowering taxes and decreasing regulations would free entrepreneurs to create, which would create jobs, which would boost the economy because people would have more money to spend.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
-Four years serving in the State Legislature representing the 39th Legislative District in the House of Representatives. -Winning reelection with 63% for my second term, an increase of 9 percentage points in just two years, indicating that my district felt I was an excellent voice for them. -A proven track record of keeping my promise to vote for smaller, smarter government, no matter the pressures in Olympia. -Ten years as a teacher...with 53% of our state's Near General Fund budget going toward K-12 education, it makes sense to have an experienced teacher advocating for stronger, more effective and efficient education. -During my four years of service in the House of Representatives, I won "State Representative of the Year" awards from Citizens Alliance for Property Rights, Hunters Heritage Council, and the Skagit County Republican Party, in addition to awards from Farm Bureau, NFIB (Small Business Guardian award), and others.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
It was a privilege and an honor to serve the people of the 39th Legislative District for two full terms in the House. It would be a joy and an honor to serve you again in the Senate.
