What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Mankind created governments that existed for their benefit, and not for their people. God has given us self determination and liberty. Our founders created a form of government that is limited, and gives the power to the people, not the other way around.

My voting record at www.leg.wa.gov

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

A predictable and stable tax and regulatory economic environment that allows for businesses to flourish.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

We need to allow for health insurance plans that allow people to choose the coverage they want, as opposed to buying coverage for things they don't want. We need to ensure there are opportunities for more insurance companies to compete for consumer premiums to drive down costs. We need tort reform. We need to end certificate of need programs and allow facilities to be built wherever a private party wishes to do so. And we need price transparency so consumers are informed.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

A predictable and stable tax and regulatory economic environment that allows for businesses to flourish

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I hold a bachelor of science degree, am a graduate of the Navy's Nuclear Propulsion program, and currently own, or am partner in a number of businesses.
