The founders wanted a very strong president but they realized they had to have a system that could compensate for problems when a corrupt person became president . regarding question 1 uncontrolled free enterprise and private property leads to oligarchy. question 7 governments make many marriage laws, including prohibition of polygamy question 12 we do not have a democracy, we have a republic question 8 the laws in the United States are established by legislators and Sharia laws will not pass

!. Global warming due to rising carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere from burning coal, oil and natural gas is the issue our generation must face and commit extraordinary resources to reverse. 2. Our country needs term limits for congressmen so they can work on solving the countries problems and not concentrate on getting reelected. 3. The money that is spent on political campaigns is corrupting and either it should be controlled or public financing should be available for underfunded candidates.

Women have abortions whether the law says they can or not- the numbers are not available but can be guessed from the number of death from abortions in countries where abortions are illegal. I, personally, consider an abortion to be a tragedy and I believe government should support women who are pregnant with adequate resources so they are confident in the future of their child. I strongly oppose sex selection abortion. I am walking this earth because two women didn't choose an abortion- and they should have. One of my great grandmothers died in the childbirth of my grandmother- who lived. My maternal grandfathers' first wife died in childbirth and so did her child. If my grandfathers' first wife had not died my grandmother would not have married him and I would not be here.

The constitution says "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." and I think this question is an attempt to get around that requirement. I am a member of a United Church of Christ congregation and if I have a question about values I try to ask " What would Jesus say I should do?" or where will I be when the answer is "when you did it unto the least of these you did it unto me". But what is done has to be done in love not to win points.
