Exactly what was written by Thomas Jefferson in his letter where that phrase originated. The government cannot order someone's religion, or their religious practice. The first amendment in the Bill of Rights gives us the right to freedom of religion.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The best way for families and individuals to have adequate health care and/or health insurance is for a parent (or the individual) to have a job or own a business that provides an income so they can provide for their family. Each person (and family) is unique - a one-size-fits-all approach by the government is not the best way to provide health insurance. People will generally make the best decisions for themselves and their families without governmental interference.

I'm running for re-election, so my first 3 terms in the legislature have given me unique qualifications and legislative experience to serve a fourth and final term in the House. I've served on a variety of committees while in office. I've lived in this county for 30+ years, and have been active in my community, volunteering in my childrens' schools and serving on the Planning Commission.
