QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
No Answer
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am running for a non-partisan office to restore local control to our public schools. I think that my position on abortion is not relevant to this office.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Agree
The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.
Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
I think it means separation of church and state. I think for the state to run churches is unconstitutional and I think for churches to be given tax payer dollars is also unconstitutional. I think whoever is writing these questions needs to read the US constitution.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Disagree
EDUCATION
The federal government should mandate standards and requirements (such as Common Core) for local schools.
Strongly Disagree
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Agree
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Disagree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have been a Christian all my life. However, I think that this question is not relevant to the office I am running for.
ABOUT YOU
I voted in these primaries and general elections:
No Answer
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
No Answer
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I am opposed to Identity based politics. I think it has been extremely harmful to our political problem solving processes. I spent 20 years teaching courses in Problem Solving at Bellevue College and I believe it would be far better to focus on issues relative to the office rather than trying to place labels on people and ask them questions that would take an entire book to answer.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I degrees in both Science Education and Child Development. I am also a parent and teacher. I have worked in both the public and private sector.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am running to restore local control to our public schools. I have publicly opposed the Sex Ed bill and shutting down our schools as both violated local control of public schools. I have also opposed the Common Core federal standards and the SBAC test for the same reasons. If I am elected, I will return our schools to local control. 2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
