I would first like to start by stating the Constitution is as much relevant today as it was back when it was drafted and when it was ratified by the States. The principles and concepts presented are timeless and applicable to any nation that values individual liberty. The careful and deliberate drafting of the Constitution reflected the intent to limit the ability of the federal government to exercise any more power than what the citizens agreed to give to it.
