OTHER INFORMATION

Candidate Q&A: In what ways would you 'drain the swamp?' "The swamp cannot be drained as long as voters choose between Republicans and Democrats. As a Libertarian, I want to minimize the impact DC has on anyone’s life. Bulldoze the swamp and pave it over. Turn the Pentagon into a homeless veterans shelter. “TEXIT” might work as long as we don’t trade the tyrants in DC for a tyrant in Austin." Go San Angelo. 21 Feb 2020.

"Hello, my name is Brian Holk and I am a candidate for the Texas State House of Representatives, District 53. I am running as a Libertarian because I believe in freedom of choice and personal responsibility. I am just a regular working man, like most of us, trying to balance work, family, budgets, and schedule. I am totally disgusted by today’s politicians and their spending and pandering. I am strongly opposed to a state income tax and for property tax reform. The right to bear arms is guaranteed by the constitution and to me gun control means a steady aim." "Gun control means a steady aim." The Big Apple blog by Barry Popik. 31 Oct 2006

Candidate has responded to a VoteSmart Political Courage Test in a previous election.
