QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Government should play no role in this decision; only the woman (and those she chooses to consult) make this decision. Citizens who support abortion should donate to abortion providers; citizens who oppose abortion should donate to those who provide alternatives. I donate to those who provide alternatives.

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

In all cases. Please see above. I cannot, will not, relegate women to back alley abortions.

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Choose not to answer

Trying to enforce morality using law enforement is not the function of government. Those who oppose abortion should concentrate their efforts on providing alternatives, rather than using force to implement their morality.

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Choose not to answer

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

ECONOMY

What is your position on the minimum wage?

There should not be a minimum wage requirement. A minimum wage encourages replacing human resources with machines. Further, thise jobs eliminated by minimum wage are usually the one's peopleneed to get their adult life started.

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

The freedom of choice, as in "free market", is what makes us wealthy. Poorly run businesses don't last as customers choose alternatives. The "free market" is self correcting. Government control is everlasting and virtually impossible to fix once it goes awry because you don't choose your government, you're stuck with it. They say that ina democracy, you choose the government, but that's not how2 it works; another topic altogether.

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1> Get the government out of the healthcare business. Healthcare expenses are bankrupting just about every government on the planet. 2> Get ALL social engineering out of the schools system; schools are for educating those who want to learn. Coddling those who don't want to learn must cease. 3> Stop building trains from some place to nowhere. The capture, storage, and distribution of water is the essential thing government needs to be doing for the future.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Just what the first ammendment says: "Congress shall make no law repecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free excercise thereof;" The important words here are "shall make no law". The fourteenth ammenment applies the "shall make no law" phrase to state legislatures.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Yes, with some exceptions such as cases of life, death, or severe injury. That is, when a reasonable alternative is avalable, the rights of the service provider shall be protected.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
