QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am pro-life
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
There is a great deal of waste, fraud, and abuse in these programs and forensic auditing is needed to clean it up and make sure only qualified and eligible persons receive benefits. The billing processes for Medicare must be looked at to ensure there is no overbilling and billing errors.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Reducing the deficit by across the board spending cuts of 5 percent would be a start. Eliminating units of government and consolidating their functions into other departments and to the states would save huge amounts of dollars. Other avenues to explore will be forensic audit of Medicare spending, re-evaluation of foreign aid, demanding fair share from countries we protect, negotiating favorable trade deals and enacting legislations to build a favorable climate to manufacturing, trade & commerce
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
It is a serious issue and needs addressing. The debts accumulated by students is overwhelming. College costs are too high due to bureaucracies, teacher unions, high tuition, and pension costs. Students should look at specialty programs that lead to careers that sustain paying back loans. Some forgiveness programs should be looked at for students who work in fields that provide public service, like police officers, medical professionals that serve veterans, inner city school teachers, etc.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Government should ensure that everyone is freely allowed to practice their religion. Faith is important but religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God. However, elected official should use their moral judgement while making and enacting laws.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Allow purchase of insurance across state lines. Foster more competitive Marketplaces. Allow Health Savings Account. Encourage church health share programs. Allow people close to Medicare eligibility to buy credits to get in.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Surgical strikes using our Intelligence networks to kill known terrorists and their cells. Stop foreign aid and impose strong sanctions on countries that harbor and/or fund terrorists. Increase funding on assets in the US to prevent attacks on our soil.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Persons who have clean criminal histories from countries on the safe list from the State Department Persons will special skills and education and clean backgrounds from approved countries to fill specific jobs that have a shortage of qualified applicants Persons with clean backgrounds who are from approved countries and fleeing political or religious persecution
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Faith, trust, confidence, and loyalty in God. I believe that we should selflessly perform our duties without expectation of any fruits for our action.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My website at www.krishnaforcongress.com. My 2014 iVoter survey, Illinois Family Institute voter guides 2014 and 2020. My endorsements from conservative leaders like Paul Caprio of Family-PAC Federal and elected officials.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
As a Member of the Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission I review and vote on dozens of issues that affect citizens and businesses in my community. On December 19, for example, I casted the lone "no" vote to acknowledge neighbor concerns about density and local elected officials concerns about safety and traffic. My initiative, "Indian Community Outreach", has built awareness in the recent immigrant community to volunteer for civic and community causes. Under this organization, amongst many other programs, I have been instrumental organizing the "India Day Parade & Celebration" since 2015, which brought out over 30,000 people each year providing valuable cultural exchanges and great economic impacts to Naperville and the region. As a Board member of Illinois Chamber and President of US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce for Midwest, I have been instrumental on working for advocacy for small businesses.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Guns should be kept away from those deemed mentally ill by medical professionals. Also, those convicted of prior violent offenses and/or crimes with a gun.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
a) Our country has lost a multitude of jobs in last few years, both manufacturing and service, to foreign countries, due to policies that favored special interests. My priority will be to work on legislation to stimulate opportunities, while building more manufacturing units and slowing down offshore dependency of skilled labor. b) Rampant spread of drugs, opioid crisis, & the mental health crisis. c) Reducing federal regulations & taxes that stifle small businesses.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes, racism can cause domestic insecurity because it leads to gangs, crime, and civil discord. It demeans and belittles individuals and can keep people from achieving their highest success.
