QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If it could be medically proven as necessary to save the life of the mother.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Get government out of the way: eliminate policies that restrict competition (locally, nationally, and internationally), reduce excessive industry regulations. At the same time we need to dramatically increase transparency in the market place.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
The state constitution should limit the growth of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.
No Answer
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Get government out of the way: reduce burdensome regulation and onerous taxes. Second best is to improve the quality of k-12 education - specifically teaching grit, determination, and a work ethic.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
It depends on the state of the economy. The economy changes all the time. Government should attempt to smooth out the bumps of a changing economy while recognizing there will be fluctuations. Sometimes the labor supply is tight, sometimes it is soft.
IMMIGRATION
I support sanctuary cities.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support the death penalty.
Strongly Disagree
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
Strongly Disagree
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree

Strongly Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Sin is the nature of mankind. The root of sin is self-love. The separation of powers is designed to spread power among branches over government to serve as checks against unrestrained power.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
God created the earth and man. Man rebelled against God, and based on man's sin nature, falls short of the glory of God. God provided a way for justice to prevail and for man to be reunited with God. He provided his son to be a sacrifice for our sins. For my sins to be forgiven I must accept the gift of salvation offered by Christ. Only this way do I have access to God's mercy and eternal life.
