QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Disagree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Family planning, including abortion, should be in accordance with Roe vs. Wade and a decision to be made by the patient and their doctor depending on individual health needs and risks.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Agree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Disagree
The state constitution should limit the growth of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.
Disagree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Disagree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
1. Curb the large tax breaks for huge companies, reallocate to small business grants. 2. Incentive to work: Raise the federal minimum wage to a livable wage. In Wisconsin it should be $18.50. 3. Workforce development investment, including case work. 4. Decouple healthcare from employment. Give the worker freedom to pursue a proper career without fear of losing healthcare.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Proper balanced regulation leads to safe sustainable economic growth. The government should be more proactive than reactive to maintain long term job and wage growth.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Disagree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Disagree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Agree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would expand the affordable care act. Healthcare is a human right. Healthcare costs overall decline when more people are covered, especially promoting preventative care.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Disagree
IMMIGRATION
I support sanctuary cities.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Disagree
George Washington's comment that “Religion and morality are the essential pillars of civil society” is still true today.
Strongly Disagree
Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.
Strongly Agree
People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."
Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
To give the voters the largest opportunity to be a part of democracy in their voting choices.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My personal faith is very strong. I'm a Christian, I pray daily and attend service weekly. My Father is a Lutheran Pastor and I have a Lutheran education. I have no problem ever talking about my faith, I am tolerant of other faiths and I do not feel the role of an elected official should push any particular faith.
