18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

AFs had a distrust of concentrating power in the hands of a man / king...so they created a government with a separation of powers to check the unfrettered power being accumulated in one branch of government...

19. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

CONSTITUTION...CONGRESS...SUPREME COURT...VOTERS

20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Women should have the right to an abortion - in consultation with her doctor and it is HER decision, and should not be interfered with. A woman who has an abortion does not do it without understanding the consequences... If you are a Christian, you should be understanding and considerate of a womans decision to have an abortion. It is for God to Judge, not a person or a government. The Golden Rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you... Government should and must assist and aid a woman, to have an abortion, if she decides too - in cases of rape or incest or danger to the womans health.

21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Roman Catholic....I believe God will Judge us...and that no man or woman should consider themselves to be a God by judging the actions of another person, whom they may disagree with, in religious situations. Nor should a man or woman try to impose their beliefs on another person, through coersion or intimidation or threats. America was founded by people who believed in the freedom of religion - so we should allow for all faiths to be freely practiced.
