15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Unwanted interference with freedom to keep any one group from growing into a tyrannical entity. Our system is founded and operational under a firm system of checks and balances.

16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

1. Secure the border. Period. This is the major reason we have tens of millions of illegal immigrants living among us and soaking up our valuable resources. I live in a border District and the wide open border has caused ruination of our communities and even across America. This my top priority. 2. Illegal Immigration (Amnesty): I adamantly oppose any form of immigration reform. Our immigration system is adequate to manage this issue, however the federal government refuses to enforce it. Our nation and my community is under attack by our own government that refuses to take action and will do nothing except grant American citizenship by executive fiat. 3. The economy of the U.S.: We continue to "circle the drain" economically with no end in sight. We have an out-of-control spending problem that Congress and the President refuse to seriously address. This is way too complex for a short answer, however we must rein in spending, reduce our deficit.

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

I oppose abortion. I am pro-life, from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death. I reject the argument that abortion is acceptable in cases of rape and incest. These are horrific crimes that must be dealt with as crimes and punished within the full extent of the law. Less than 1% of all abortions fit either of these categories. Murdering a defenseless child does not make the crime go away and in fact, adds to the burden of the mother. Although I am not Catholic, I agree with their stance regarding the life of the mother. In rare instances where there is a reasonable expectation the mother's life may be spared at the expense of the child, abortion should be allowed.

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

1. God (Creator), 2. Voters (We the People), 3.Constitution, 4. Congress (Article 1), 5.Supreme Court (Article III), 6 Media (1st Amendment)

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born-again Christian whose faith is the cornerstone of my life. I walk by this faith, and not by sight, as the bible instructs. I do not judge. I hate the sin and not the sinner. My responsibility as the spiritual head of my household is a solemn responsibility I take extremely seriously. I do not compromise my spiritual beliefs and make no attempt to hide them.
