15. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
They understood that men were not angels and that we must bind men down from mischief with the chains of the Constitution. Laws are created to protect property and to help ensure that rights are respected and to provide consequence when they are not. Put simply, by Lord Acton (loose translation), Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
Corruption of the original intent of the US Constitution. My slogan is "The US Constitution is my special interest." Internal powers are supposed to belong to the states (state's rights) and to the people, respectively. This is at the root of all our problems (some may take it further and say that waning morality is at the root, and because of this, they have little or no regard for the rules[US Constitution] set in place). The National Debt. If the United States were bound by the Constitution, most, or all rather, of the debt probably wouldn't exist. Debt was generally incurred in times of war. Under the guise of protecting us from terrorism, many of the rights guaranteed and enshrined in the US Constitution have been eroded. Among these, under the 2012 NDAA, effectively, the congress revoked the right to due process for Americans, which is a longstanding principle established in the Magna Carta. Our government was established to secure rights, not erode them.
17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
Abortion is an abhorrent practice. No.

God established Natural Law/Natural Rights, The Constitution enshrined those rights, Voters, Congress, & the Supreme Court are supposed to work against each other to protect those rights, everything else operates within the framework.
