It was the pursuit of liberty from an oppressive monarchy that made our fore fathers draft our Constitution to ensure our leaders would be in a representative form of government with distinct roles and authorities which created a checks and balances system to protect our freedom and rights.

God, Constitution, Voters, Supreme Court. The last was established to ensure our Constitution is upheld in the laws of the land. The Voters hold a special authority in this equation because they have the ability, through democracy, to change laws.

I have strong Christian and conservative beliefs. My faith in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior is the foundation of my moral code.
