16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

(1) I believe in repealing the Federal Income Tax, and replacing it with a National Sales Tax! This would eliminate over 74,000 of loophole ridden laws, and simplify the system! It would put more money in the pockets of hardworking Americans. (2) I believe in paying off the National Debt within the next couple of decades, and setting future generations up for financial success. (3) I believe in a smaller more efficient Federal Government, and putting the power back into the states. This is important to me because I believe that this is what our founding fathers envisioned for this great nation!

17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Up until recently I was against abortion except in the cases of “Life of the Mother” and cases of rape. I mentioned this to a constituent and he pointed me to an award winning documentary called “180”. After watching this and being asked “Why should a child be murdered for the sins of the father?” I did some reflection! I have come to the conclusion that in cases of rape that Adoption is a better alternative. I do however, still believe that if the mothers life is at risk, than she has the right to chose between her life and life of the child. After all children are a gift, and should not be discarded as a matter of convenience, which happens so often. Over 53 million children have been aborted since the Roe Vs Wade decision, and I believe that that is wrong!
