The natural tendency to seek advantage and power.
16. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1. Immigration. We need to control our borders and staunch the flow of illegal immigrants. They are a detriment to our society. Fat cats of both parties want to hold down wages with a constant supply of people willing to work for substandard wages. Democrats want another underclass to be an incubator for democrat voters. Uncontrolled illegal immigration and high rates of H1B visa immigrants is limiting opportunity for advancement of our citizens. 2. Out of control EPA. Continuous new restrictions and requirements on energy development and pollution controls are a drag on our economic progress. They act as if we had not made substantial progress in pollution controls in the past 40 years. We are well past the point of diminishing returns on regulation of pollution and have entered the realm of negative economic returns. 3. Impotent foreign policy. Obama's performance on the world stage has us with lettle credibility and severly diminished influence in the world.
17. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
First trimester. You should not have to pay for someone else's abortion, therefore I would vote to defund Planned Parenthood. Minor children should not be able to get abortions without parental notification and conscent. Roe v Wade was decided by the Supreme Court 41 years ago. Since then everything has changed, except for the legality of abortion. If this is your single issue litmus test, you might want to reconsider. There are other issues vital to our country's safety and economic health. Someone strong on your view on abortion, but weak on other important issues you care about is not a good choice, since after 41 years, availability of abortions is not going to change

Constitution. God. Congress. Voters. Supreme Court
19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the God of the Bible. I believe that the Judeo - Christian teachings of the Bible are the proper guides for personal moral behavior and the basis for a decent society.
