Strongly Agree
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.
Disagree
The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.
Strongly Agree
I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Agree
The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.
Strongly Disagree
I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Current regulations on domestic oil exploration and drilling are more restrictive than are necessary.

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health care and a livable income.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only as a preventative measure to save the life of the mother before viability. Without the mother the child couldn't survive.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The nature of man to become corrupt if given too much power or authority. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again follower of Christ. I believe the entire Bible is the inspired word of God and that God's laws trump man's laws when man's laws are in opposition. If you have to clarify what teachings I follow, I would have to say Pentecostal.
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I am a constitutional conservative who believes that our founders were brilliant men who had a dream and a great plan for this nation. If elected I would make it my priority to follow the letter of the law to best serve my constituents. Although I haven't held an office, through technology you can see how I would vote vs. the current incumbent Rep. Kildee and in turn it also shows how the majority of the people agree with my vote over Rep. Kildee. This info can be viewed on my site at http://allenhardwick.com/plans/voting-record-vs-dan-kildee/

Additional comment from candidate:
This country needs people who care about preserving freedom, limiting the scope of government in our lives, limiting unnecessary regulations and taxes so businesses can grow and create more jobs, make it possible to utilize our natural resources to their full potential to lower energy costs, and make sure everyone has an educational opportunity to better themselves so every generation can have a fighting chance to achieve “The American Dream”. If elected in 2016, I promise to do my very best to get this country back on the path our founders envisioned where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. I have high hopes we can change the direction of this nation for real growth and prosperity. It’s time for politicians to work for the people and not special interest groups or big corporations. I plan on representing "We The People" In Washington.
