Disagree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

"If men were angels, no government would be necessary." --Publius Men seek power over others. Government's role is to defend individual human rights (to control the governed, in founders' phrase). The separation and limitation of government powers is to then oblige the government to control itself. The Constitution does this by setting interest against interest. Only by aligning the interests of many different KINDS of majorities can anything be done in our system. That is by design.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None. Unless by "abortion" you include procedures like hysterectomy or tubalectomy that are rarely but sometimes immediately required to save the life of the pregnant mother.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a practicing Roman Catholic. I also believe as our founders did that the fact of human dignity is a self-evident truth accessible to all humans by reason, and therefore the obligation to defend the rights of human persons may be imposed on others by law.
