18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
Before the United States of America was created, nations, up to that point, had kings. The founders looked at history and saw that absolute power corrupts absolutely and wanted to create something unique and different. For the first time in history, a county (the United States of America), was formed on the basis of an idea instead of mere conquest. That idea was outlined in our declaration of independence. The separation of powers was put in place for exactly the type of President we have now.

1. God 2. Voters 3. Constitution 4. Congress 5. Supreme Court
20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
I am against public funding for abortion. I am also against exception clauses for abortion. This is based on groups such as "The abortion survivors network" which provide powerful testimony to the fact that even in extremely difficult situations, that child in the womb is an individual and has done nothing wrong. The democrat answer to those difficult situations is to kill the innocent child. My answer, if killing someone is a must, would be to kill the rapist, not the innocent child.
21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian. I believe faith and religion play a critical role in the political life of our nation and always has. And that the church, and all denominations, has had a strong influence on the state and this has worked to our benefit as a nation. We need religion as a guide. We need it because we are imperfect and the government needs the church because only those humble enough to admit they are sinners can bring to democracy the tolerance it requires in order to survive. The government shall never establish a religion. All are free to believe or not to believe. But those who believe, must be free to speak of and act on their belief to apply moral teaching to public questions.
