QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I sponsored successful legislation in the Arizona State Legislature to defund Planned Parenthood in Arizona.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Life is sacred and should be cherished, loved and supported, not destroyed.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To protect the life of the mother.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

We must protect all of our God given individual rights. Our freedom of religion is rightly protected by the First Amendment and it must be honored.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I strongly support the approach established in the Freedom of Religion Restoration Act for addressing individuals' and businesses' rights to appeal to a court for exemption from State or Federal Law under their First Amendment rights to religious liberty.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. The First Amendment protects the church and the people from being told by the government how they must worship. It does not prohibit people of faith or a church from attempting to have a positive impact on public policy.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. All of our foreign policy should be approached from the perspective of what is in America's best interest.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

In the Arizona State Legislature I supported legislation to prohibit the State of Arizona from investing in companies that supported the BDS movement. I will be one of Israel's strongest supporters in the U.S. Senate.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We must support Israel and be diligent in all of our national security efforts to protect America's safety and security.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I do not support forced vaccinations.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

I do not support universal healthcare, single-payer or mandates on individuals and businesses. We should support the freemarket and individual choice. We must keep the promises that were made to current retirees and those near retirement that have paid into entitlement programs their entire lives. In order to accomplish that the current unfunded liability must be recognized and addressed without increasing the burden these programs place on the economy.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and capitalism have done more to lift individuals out of poverty across the world than any government program has ever done. Socialism and communism have failed every time they have been tried and they left a wake of poverty and destruction in their path. These big government policies create demoralizing governmental dependence, runaway inflation and poverty for all but the ruling class. I will always stand for freedom and pro-growth economic policies.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

The current spending levels are absolutely unsustainable. We must change course or we will pass on a bankrupt country to our children and grandchildren.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

We must simplify the tax code and reduce the burden that it places on hardworking Americans.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We need to do the following: 1) finish the wall, 2) properly fund the border patrol, 3) make permanent the remain in Mexico policy, 4) establish a mandatory E-Verify requirement for all employers with employer sanctions for those that do not comply.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Those that follow our immigration laws.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I fully support the Second Amendment.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am running for the U.S. Senate to secure our borders, to end this runaway inflation and to grow our economy. I will fight to decrease the size, scope and reach of the federal government while expanding freedom. I'm running for the Senate because I am deeply concerned about the direction the Democrats are leading our country. Biden and his enablers in Congress have created chaos at our southern border. They empowered the drug cartels, destroyed our energy independence, benefited hostile regimes, expanded the national debt and created runaway inflation. If we continue down this path, we will bankrupt our children's future; we will create demoralizing governmental dependence and poverty for all. To pass on a strong and a free country to our children and grandchildren, we must change course. I am running for the Senate to ensure we replace Mark Kelly with someone who will fight for Arizona's conservative values. In this race, I am the only candidate with a proven conservative record. As a State Representative, I fought for and delivered balanced budgets. My successful legislation cut taxes, expanded school choice, defunded Planned Parenthood and defunded Obamacare. I earned an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association, funded border security and voted to ban ballot harvesting. I have a demonstrated ability to win a challenging statewide election. In 2018, I was elected to statewide office even after Democrat billionaire Tom Steyer spent $4 million trying to defeat me. I was outspent by more than 30 to 1, still Arizona voters elected me because I have served Arizona with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. On the Arizona Corporation Commission, I have fought to protect Arizonans' hard earned resources, to defeat the Green New Deal, and to block Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate. In addition to my public service, I worked as the CFO for Turning Point USA, the leading conservative organization educating students about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets, and capitalism. I have been in the trenches fighting the good fight to save our country. There is no other Senate candidate with this proven record of conservative successes. I don't just make promises, I've kept them. I was born in Arizona, educated here and built my career here. My roots run deep in the Arizona desert where my family history goes back several generations. I'm running for the Senate to bring Arizona’s conservative values to our nation’s capital. Above all, I will never back down in the fight for freedom, so our children and grandchildren will enjoy the blessings of liberty and prosperity for generations to come.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a person of strong faith. I believe that our churches, families and communities play a fundamental role in the strength of our society.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

We must protect the integrity of our elections.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

We must have mandatory voter identification requirements for every ballot that is cast.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Disagree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A
