21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian. Saved by God's grace. Jesus has been the single biggest influence on my life. I believe that American Christians have done a poor job of reflecting Jesus' love for people when it comes to issues such as abortion and gay marriage. After all Jesus spent a lot of time with the worst of sinners in His day. I think it has been a serious mistake for Christians to try to replace their responsibility for sharing a better way to live with government mandates on how people ought to live. Christ doesn't force Himself on us, and we shouldn't try to force Him on others. Judge not lest you be judged. Love your neighbor as yourself. All are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. These are the scriptures that speak loudest to me. If we want to see social change for the better then we should have faith to believe that our love will win people to Christ, not our legislation.
