What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The Founders knowledge of history and the fallen state of mankind. "if men were angels we would not need government. If government were of angels we would not need to restrict them." "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." The nature of man can not be trusted and therefore government should be very restricted and granted as little power as absolutely possible.

Additional comment from candidate:
I am blessed for 38 years of marriage. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I am not a politician. For 33 years we have run our small Technology services businesses. Before that I spent 12 years on the KCMO police department. James Madison said, “The powers delegated to the federal government, are few and defined. Limited, Small government Restrained by Our Constitution leaving liberty to the people! All other power belongs to the states or the people. Congress Nor the government can grant government additional powers. Only the States’ People can grant government more power and only by amending The Constitution. Patrick Henry said, “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government." Article1 section1 says Only congress can make laws. We should restrict funding to only constitutionally granted Government powers. Laws take Liberty from someone.
