18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

We are imperfect. Mankind has defects in his nature and thirst for power and that it needs to be checked. Institutions that limit/share power can bring about a more perfect union.

Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court.

20. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

I believe all innocent human life is precious.

21. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, and that Jesus Christ is our savior and that though his teachings we live a better life. When I die I believe he will be our judge and he will one day return again in glory. I believe that our founding fathers used Judeo-Christian principles to create a just and moral society. Through virtue we can do good, through better character we can have a better society and build stronger communities. The Prayer of St Francis is also a guide for my values as well.
