active member of First United Methodist Church, family volunteers at Rowan Helping Ministries and Meals On Wheels.I was a Republican Precinct Chair, the 12th District Delegate to the NC County Chairman's Association, a Delegate to the NCGOP Executive Committee and served on the Rowan Republicans Youth and Minority Outreach Committee.I am member of the NRA I began my studies at Kent State University in January of 1969 and completed the 4 year program in 3 years with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. I did not serve in the military, however, my family has a proud history of military service to the country. My father served in the Army during WWII,a brother, brother-in-law and Uncle served in Viet Nam( Marine,AirForce).My eldest son is a disabled Iraqi War Veteran.

As an active member of First United Methodist Church,my family and I volunteer at Rowan Helping Ministries (homeless shelter)and I was a regular driver for Meals On Wheels, Grandfather Home. I was a Republican Precinct Chair, the 12th District Delegate to the NC County Chairman's Association, a Delegate to the NCGOP Executive Committee and served on the Rowan Republicans Youth and Minority Outreach Committee I am member of the NRA
