The U.S. military should wait for militant Islamic groups to directly threaten our national security on our shores, rather than eradicate them now wherever they may be worldwide.

Strongly Disagree

The United States must maintain a nuclear arsenal that is safe, reliable, modern and numerically superior to those of potential adversaries.

Strongly Agree

I support legislation such as the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA) that would prohibit discrimination against individuals, organizations and small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

The federal government should establish Common Core as a nationwide academic standard for high school graduation.

Strongly Disagree

I oppose the resettlement of Syrian refugees into the U.S. without proper vetting.

Life or death of the mother.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

To prevent a totalitarian or tyrannical government over We the People

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Religious beliefs are protected by our First Amendment. We are a nation under God and embrace all those that embody "love thy neighbor as thyself"

Conservative

Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.

Our government should focus on limited governance and stay out of defining religious institutions. We should not become a theocracy and stay a representative republic. Our forefathers were from many Judeo-Christian sectors but founded a government that worked for all.

Additional comment from candidate:

We need to purge our federal government of corruption. For too long we have allowed bought-and-paid-for-candidates to get elected into public office and then turn around and vote against our beliefs. As a doctor I respect life, liberty, and our pursuit of happiness. My Hippocratic Oath states to do no harm and I will carry that to Congress. I come from a low-income family and worked my way through High School, undergraduate, and the first 2 years of medical school. I have the passion, experience and strength under adversity to make our voices not only heard but enable changes that will restore our constitution over political parties and crony Special Interests. As a Latina I can help our political party and our country embrace our constitution and unite under conservative principals. I am the anti-corruption & anti-Establishment candidate.
