16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

There is an old saying that says "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Many people seek power and I believe the founders understood this well from the established monarchies of the day. Defining, separating, and limiting these powers was an attempt by them to limit corruption of our elected leaders.

17. The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

Strongly Agree

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Congress, Supreme Court.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God is the Creator of all things. I believe He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to this earth to die for our sins. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved. I believe that when Jesus went to His Father the Holy Spirit was sent to us and dwells in us as the Comforter. My values mimic those things taught by Christ. He said that if we love Him we will keep His commandments. We are not saved by our works but our works will portray the love of Christ in us.
