16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

The Founders did not want any one branch of government to have too much power. Therefore, it set up a series of checks and balances. The current President is using executive authority in an abusive way by going around the legislative branch. The judicial branch needs to reign in this lawless use of power.

I am a born-again Christian. I regularly attend Fellowship Bible Church. I read the Bible daily and do a daily devotional. I am the mother of two adopted sons. I am 100% pro-life. When I look at my sons, I am so thankful that their birthmother chose adoption. I can't imagine a world without them. Both of my sons have Asperger's Syndrome, which is high-functioning autism. I started a Christian website about autism. www.autismvoices.com I believe in marriage between a man and a woman. I am against same-sex marriage.
