16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
Man is basically corrupt. Absolute power corrupts absolutely! Defining powers & then separating & limiting them are precautions the founding fathers wrote in an effort to restrain evil men from usurping power. They conceded that the Constitution was only as good as those who were willing to defend & protect it. That is why they established a REPUBLIC instead of a democracy. Our representatives should do what is right regardless of what some poll might suggest. #17 actually should say "republic"s
17. The founders established pure democracy in the Constitution because they believed that it is the best form of government to ensure the safety and equitable treatment of all citizens.

18. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court (ALL authority is God's. Constitution next but it is still created by and then governs voters. Congress is elected, Supreme Court is appointed)
19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
At the heart of EVERY person is sin. It has separated us from God. There is NO salvation apart from the ABSOLUTE price Jesus paid by dying on the cross. Mere recognition of Jesus will not redeem us. Eternal redemption comes only by acknowledging our own sin, turning from that sin and asking to be made clean by the only spiritual cleanser, the Blood of Jesus. I was 6 years old when I met Jesus as redeemer. He has remained faithful for 48 years. It has been my attempt to be faithful to Him all those years. I have faltered, fainted and stumbled BUT I have remained faithful. I find Him to be more amazing the older I get. I find His love towards me to be overwhelming because it is so undeserved. Nothing I have done has obligated His LOVE towards me. He just can't help Himself! It is just who HE IS! He is love! I'm amazed He loves me so!
