14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

The majority can sometimes become the mob. Our Founders understood that a system of checks and balances would create a system that requires debate, thoughtfull deliberation and agreement between all three branches of government to eventually arrive at solutions that were based on common sense and not passion.

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

Immigration Reform. Before we can begin the work on tax reform, and creating jobs, Immigration Reform must be addressed. Federal Assistance Voter ID card. In a system full of waste and fraud requiring each recipient who truly needs assistance can draw it with an authorized photo ID. This will force the Government to effectively monitor our assistance programs and prevent unauthorized use of these benifits from those who try to fraud the system. This will also provide our most needy citizens with an authorized form of identification to be used to vote with. Common Sense gun control. The two extreme sides hold an untenable postition. The Constitution has granted 2nd Amendment rights and the Supreme Court has upheld them. Taking away all the guns is an unrealistic goal. However every type of weapon for any citizen who desires that weapon is not possible. For example, Plastic 3D printer weapons and Cop Killer bullets are two examples of gun control needed for the public safety.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

I am not a woman, and therefore have never been exposed to rape or incest leading to pregnancy. Therefore I have never had to make a medical decision that would place the life of my baby or myself at risk. I think that this is between a woman and her Doctor.

17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a non-denominational Christian who believes that Christ died for our sins; and as I live my life attempting to live a spiritual life and asking forgiveness when I fall from grace, will allow me to enter into Heaven.
