ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Previously supported legislation is publicly available.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Eight years of previous service in Arizona legislature, building coalitions, networks, and constituency groups, I have worked in both public and private setors.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I was born in Arizona’s Gila Valley; I am a fifth-generation native of rural Arizona. Retiring in 2008 from over 20 years with the City of Safford, I understand the value of hard work. I was first elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2010 and served until 2018, chairing the House Committee for Agriculture, Water and Land; Vice chair Energy, Natural Resources and Rural Affairs. My prime guiding principle is, “Do no harm” and strongly believe that the role of government is to facilitate a business environment in which job creation and economies may flourish; “government should be on your side, not in your way.” I can best be described as a ‘pragmatic, independent-minded, conservative.’

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He robed himself in flesh and dwelt among us. He is Deliverer and Salvation, the Mighty God in Christ, Jesus told us we must be born again of the water and the Spirit, and to follow the Apostle's doctrine until His return.
