1. Free enterprise and the right to private property turn mankind's natural self interest into the fairest and most productive economic system there is, and are the key to national prosperity.

Strongly Agree

4. Government should enforce laws designed to protect the border and to prevent illegal entry of persons into the country.

Strongly Agree

5. The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) should be repealed by Congress.

Strongly Agree

6. Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

7. Marriage is a union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

9. Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

10. Governments should pay to develop wind and solar energy solutions when these are not economically feasible.

Strongly Disagree

14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

When a man or woman gains power, it can corrupt them. By having checks and balances for all three branches of government, the Founding Fathers provided a way to keep the power and greed of mankind under control.

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

1. Repealing Obamacare - The Constitution does NOT mandate health care, therefore rendering this law illegal. I will fight to each citizen's right to be able to buy health care insurance over state lines. Currently, you can only buy within your own state. Having 50 states companies fight for your business is the first step to driving down the cost of health care. 2. Reducing The National Debt - The national debt is currently $17.5 trillion. If every living American were to pay their share of that debt, each of us would have to pay $54,000 right now. Sadly, that just isn't possible. I will propose legislation to stop spending increases and pay down this crippling debt that our children and grandchildren will be saddled with. 3. Returning Federally-Owned Lands Back To The States - Currently, the federal government owns 53% of Oregon which means our state isn't even living up to half of its potential. I will insist on the government relinquishing control of each state's land.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

No. The Declaration of Independence grants us the right of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". How can we have liberty and the pursuit of happiness if we don't get to live? Over 56 million aborted Americans agree with that statement.

17. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Congress, Supreme Court, Voters, Industry

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that God is the Creator of this Universe and everything therein. I believe that God has sent each of us to the earth for a particular reason and purpose. I believe that every human being on earth is intrinsically good. I believe that Jesus Christ died as a sacrifice for sin, even for those who do not believe in Him. I believe that God knows each of us individually. I know that one day we will all be judged by Jesus Christ for the actions we have done (and not done) and will be rewarded accordingly.
