Madison gave the best explanation when he said, “The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, selfappointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were established to protect the founders hard fought liberty.
15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
Government spending / debt and deficit - The out of control government spending and the overwhelming national debt is a significant threat to this country. Our fiscal irresponsibility poses a greater threat to this country than any enemy foreign or domestic. The threat that our National Debt poses to this country was outlined by retired Joint Chief of Staff Admiral Mike Mullins when he stated "The most significant threat to our national security is our debt". Job Creation – The Federal Government is not able to create the jobs necessary to revive our economy. These jobs must come from the private sector. We have to reign in the government regulations that are strangling job growth across this country. Repeal Obamacare – As evidenced by it’s initial implementation, Obamacare is a disaster imposed on the American people. Real health care reform must have tort reform, patient centered solutions where the policy holder is a consumer of their own healthcare.

I believe in a personal relationship with the one true God creator of heaven and earth. My spiritual journey is a continued growing relationship between Christ, myself, and others. My faith and values are the foundation of who I am, the decisions I make, and how I interact with others.
