OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

According to the Declaration of Independence we are endowed by our Creator with the unalienable Right to Life. No limitation on our age or location is noted. Since that is a founding document for the U.S. Constitution, I believe that induced abortion is unconstitutional, and the legalization of it by the U.S. Supreme Court through their affirmation of Roe v. Wade in 1973 their worst mistake in history.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

The next step, which China has reportedly already taken, is to tell citizens that they are expected to commit suicide and when.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Tax code should be rewritten so government officials do not get a blank check.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Elimination of tax-guzzling agencies at the federal level in Washington, DC, that includes the Department of Education, would help the states. Georgia needs to reexamine the need for its agencies as well.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

I support public ed, but because of the Marxists/Communists (M/C) who are educating the educators in college, it is no longer what it used to be. Dumbing it down started in the last century, and with the introduction of the Common Core this century even reading, writing and arithmetic took a hit (e.g., no cursive writing or memorizing multiplication tables). With Big Tech’s help (save your old textbooks and screenshots) U.S. history is being revised and replaced by M/C’s Critical Race Theory.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None because of the “separation of church and state” embraced and promoted by atheistic Marxists/Communists.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) Because of the federal government’s debt raising policies, Medicare and Medicaid as they are will disappear soon, unfortunately. Universal healthcare means rationed healthcare. The government chooses if and when you get treated.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

As a nurse who took them and gave them, I think vaccines should only be given with voluntary consent and never be required. In the 1980’s pharmaceutical companies wanted to stop making vaccines because of the increasing number of lawsuits against them for their side effects (e.g., autism). In response the federal government passed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 to eliminate pharmaceutical companies’ liability, and fixed amounts were set, like $200,000 for a death, for the government to pay out. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) was created then to appease those who disliked the bill. Reports of adverse events can be made by anyone. Since COVID 19, physicians are notably complaining that their reports are being removed. The federal law of 1986 was and is today a gross overreach of government and should be repealed.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Seal the border and screen the immigrants

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I would support a BDS movement to pressure the Chinese Communist Party to stop executing Uyghurs, Falun Gong practitioners, political groups, and others in China “on demand” to harvest their organs to sell. A practice going on for two decades according to The International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China and the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. For more information go to http://www.spider-and-the-fly.com

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Implicit in the U.S. Constitution is the mandate that the president protect the U.S.A. and its borders. Not doing so is grounds for impeachment.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigrants who are not a threat to the peace and security of the United States and who are needed should be allowed to enter in appropriate numbers.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Too much Marxist/Communist (M/C) influence is within public education today. M/C influence is fundamentally anti the U.S. Constitution (see my book “Undermining the U.S. Constitution”).

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

My only sibling, Karen, was born with only 45 of 46 chromosomes. She was missing a 2nd sex chromosome. At puberty, when her 2nd chromosome should have kicked in, her internal female body parts disappeared. The drugs and their side effects given to suppress one’s sex mimic her Turner’s Syndrome. Although she grieved over her losses, she accepted herself and lived a fruitful life in other ways. I am for laws that prohibit giving children below the age of consent any gender suppression drugs.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Racism is learned from racist humans. Not all Americans are exposed to racist humans. Institutions are not human in my book.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was very fortunate. I had a Christian Baptist upbringing and learned early that I have a friend in Jesus. I know I can turn to him whenever I need, so I never feel really alone. Am very happy that God, when I ask for forgiveness, does and will forgive my sins.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Unless you are dead and buried you can get a photo identification in Georgia.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Need laws to ban all online accessible voting machines that can be breached without detection and to ban any machines using coded algorithms that can be set up to switch votes. Their use in Georgia began in 2001. Dominion is just their latest iteration. (Reportedly similar machines are in use in 35 states). I am for term limits. Since whomever (probably China) is picking the winners up and down the ballot on the machines, voters cannot vote the incumbents out with a fair election as was intended by the founding fathers. So I am for limiting Georgia representatives and senators to a maximum of three terms in a row (a total of six years). I would also ban “adjudication.” As a GOP poll watcher I was part of the process where 3 people guess what the voter wanted, take a vote, then create a new ballot with their selection. Their selection may not even be the one the voter selected.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Marxists/Communists (M/C) believe in dividing their enemy to conquer them. Skin color is a lot easier than eye color, they really don’t care which. Their overall objective is to control everyone and everything else. Public schools teaching racism (Critical Race Theory) is their primary weapon now. M/C developed and promote it to divide the United States internally, through friction and self hate.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Today’s K-12 students are owed an enormous apology for making them waste their precious learning time and youth in today’s public schools, if anyone deserves reparations, they do.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

C) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are a creative approach by Marxists/Communists to destroy the middle class, the direct product of capitalism and freedom in the United States. (See Agenda 21 on my website https://dianevann.com)

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

A volcano erupts through the earth’s surface as needed to release the earth’s buildup of oil and gas. I think “fracking” is a controlled and safer release of what ordinarily pushes through a deadly and uncontrollable volcano.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To serve the people.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. House of Representatives in 3 different districts in Georgia (Districts 8, 12 and 2). To my knowledge, no opponent or interviewer in 2010, 2014, or 2016 ever mislabeled me as a liberal or moderate.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have never before run against an incumbent Republican. My objective was always to replace a Democrat with a Republican. I run this time because I do not wish to rubber stamp my opponent. As the leader of the State Senate, he did not make a way for the delegation of Bibb County poll watchers to present our affidavits on the observations we made in the Board of Elections from October 2020–January 2021, and so we are still stuck with these fundamentally flawed Dominion voting machines.

iVoterGuide Notes:

Candidate wishes to clarify her statement about the incumbent in the fourth sentence:  I wrote “As the leader of the State Senate.” Sen. Kennedy informed me that he is only the leader of a caucus. Please change the statement if possible to “As a member of the State Senate.”

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I am for Georgia passing a Constitutional Carry law. Some fear that will mean felons can buy a gun. They will not be able to because of federal law, which supersedes/is superior to state law.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

When I worked in a Level III emergency room in the late 1970’s, I saw more injuries and deaths from knives than guns. So if gun dealers and manufacturers are liable, so must knife ones be. If anything, lack of the deterrence provided by law enforcement is culpable for more violence. I routinely asked my patients who were prisoners (some chained to their stretchers) just one question, what do you think of capital punishment? To my everlasting amazement, 100% said they were for it.
