18. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Man is a fallen being, guaranteed to sin. By defining powers and separating them, the harm that can be done by our leadership is limited. There is an expectation that they will work against each other as they attempt to gain more power, ensuring that both will maintain their limited powers. It is the nature of the political animal to be ambitious. The beauty of this system is that this ambition is a necessary part.

God, Voters, Constitution, Congress, Supreme Court

Only in a situation where the mothers life will be jeopardized, as in an ectopic pregnancy. The pregnancy would have to be an absolute medical threat and require life-saving measures before this circumstance could be considered.

Christ guides my steps, and I seek His will before I act. I pray that God will choose the person that will draw our citizens closer to Him this election. My values are biblical, and I have been a Christian as long as I can remember. I accepted Christ as a child.
