What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
All men have a fallen nature, and therefore people in positions of power need to be restrained. “Let us hear no more folly of trust in men, but bind them down with the chains of the constitution.” – Jefferson
Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
1. God, 2. Constitution, 3. Voters, 4. Congress, 5. Supreme Court.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
ONLY in the case of the LIFE of the mother. ___________ QUESTION #5 above. We definitely need to ensure that voters are properly registered Americans/Kentuckians, and that non-Americans/non-Kentuckians CAN NOT vote. Voting is a Right; photo ID requirements turns a Right into a government granted privilege. This requirement along with the Real-ID Act would become a de facto federal data base of all Americans, complete with personal sensitive biometric information. This would put us all at risk of identity theft, and worse, abuse by authorities – think IRS. “Your papers please!” Other methods exist to ensure voters are who they say they are. We need STIFF PENALTIES for voter fraud, including for election officials who fail to do their jobs.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian – a sinner saved by grace! The Bible is God’s word; the principles therein should govern our lives, and our public policy. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Ps. 33:12; “that in all things He [Christ] might have preeminence.” Col. 1:18
Considering all issues (social, economic, national security, etc.), which of these best describes you?
Very Conservative
Please defend your answer to the previous question by referencing your publicly available track record.
I have not held public office, but I do have a 14 year record of working as a volunteer for conservative values in the legislature. I have read and analyzed bills, and testified before committees. I have fought for pro-life, pro-gun, conservative laws, and against more taxes, spending, debt and big government. Many people in various organizations, as well as members of KY state government, can attest to these facts.

Additional comment from candidate:
Responses to specific questions above: #5: see #26 - used block 26 because of insufficient space here 9. Yes, there should be strict constitutional spending limits for state and local governments. Exactly how to accomplish this can be debated. 10. Ultimately the answer is question #11 and #19 – we definitely need belief in Judeo-Christian values widespread throughout our culture. I am not for a populace that is in a drug induced coma. Neither should we have a majority of our inmates imprisoned for minor offences. I’d like to see more evidence, both pro and con, from other states who passed legalization. 12. FALSE! The founders gave us a Republic! See #24.
