16. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

The Founders understood the Biblical truth that man's nature, un-regenerated by God and the Holy Spirit, is evil, and will follow it's depraved nature unless held in careful check by just laws. It is only the justification of Christ and sanctification by the Holy Spirit that brings a truly changed life.

19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe the Bible to be the only absolute source of truth and cannot be properly understood by a unregenerate person. We need the Holy Spirit in our lives to guide and lead us as we make decisions in our everyday affairs. God is not the force but is a personal being that interacts with His children. My core values come from the Bible and I will endeavor to never compromise on these beliefs.
