Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am against abortion with no exceptions.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Madison said it best, as Publius in Federalist Paper Number 51, “ If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Government is never the answer to any of the persistent problems facing society, but it can play a role. For example, by ensuring that our high school students are college or career ready upon graduation. Not every student is destined to go to college and so we must ensure that they have a certificate or license to practice a trade after high school. Another example is to cut government red-tape. I lead Ohio’s Common Sense Initiative whose primary focus is on reviewing every business impacting rule in the state. As a result of this work over 7,500 job-killing regulations have been changed or eliminated. Finally, we must solve the opioid crisis facing our state and get able-bodied adults back to work. I have proposed a plan to incentivize the private sector to build out the continuum of care that will restore help and hope to the addicted.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I will advocate for the repeal of Obamacare and for Congress to provide governors flexibility to craft solutions for their states’ needs. I have proposed a plan as Governor that addresses Ohio’s specific health care needs while ensuring that the state is still able to fund priorities such as education, public safety, and infrastructure. Through direct primary care, expanding health savings accounts for Ohioans working multiple jobs, and protecting those with preexisting conditions, the Taylor plan focuses on the unique needs of Ohio’s citizens and small employers.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The primary role of Government in boosting the economy is ensuring that taxes are as low as possible on both businesses and individuals. Also, see my answer on regulations in question 30. My administration has cut taxes by $5 billion, eliminated the Death Tax and virtually eliminated taxes for small businesses.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a Bachelors in Accounting and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Akron. I have served on Green City Council, the Ohio House of Representatives where I fought my own party and voted against a tax increase, was State Auditor where I was named a ‘Watchdog of the Treasury,’ and am currently Lt. Governor of Ohio where I have been Ohio’s chief opponent to Obamacare and lead the Common Sense Initiative.
