The sinful nature of mankind dictates that all these powers should be carefully defined, separated and limited. Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The citizens of my district. NC Right to Life, NC Family Council, Grassroots North Carolina, NRA. Many conservative elected officials.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (B.A., Doctor of Dental Surgery). Dentist by profession. Very active as a leader in the church. Many positions in civic leadership over 20+ years (including Kiwanis President and Lt. Governor, Board of Directors of the Free Clinic of Rockingham County, Rockingham Council for Bible Education, Rockingham County Board of Health, Scout leader/Eagle Scout, Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, too many to list). NC House of Representatives (2011-present). Former county commissioner.
