14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?
Mankind's nature for fickleness and domination. We are a republic, not a "pure democracy." A republic protects political minorities, of various kinds, from the wishes of a temporary majority. The lifetime appointments of our U.S. Supreme Court Justices is one example. The U.S. Senate having two senators from each state regardless of its size is another example of our republic protecting its political minorities.

15. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1) The national debt: There is nothing as evil is our modern political discourse than this cancer being grown by the day to endanger our children's and grandchildren's financial futures. The interest payments harm our current economy. And if America grows weaker in regard to the rest of the world, our debt will become due then. 2) America's education systems must improve to be the best in the world, without doubt. Especially in the sciences. We need school to be in session year-round, and throughout the business day, in a country of both parents working full-time. College must be affordable, if not free, like grades K-12. 3) What is holding back the prospects of poor people is poor moral choices on every level. The leading cause of children being in a poor home is that a single mother is raising them. There is no legislation for this really. But a voice of love and traditional wisdom can help.

16. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
No. New technology has removed almost any danger to a pregnant woman's life in a pregnancy. So that last excuse is gone. And I have met wonderful young people conceived by a rape. Who has the pluck to tell them in person they should not have been born?

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I have learned, by experience and observation, that traditional moral values is the path to contentment. Any form of racism is a sin. I have learned the wisdom, in my short college experience, that Jesus our savior is not a 'white' person. A person born in the middle east today, or 2014 years ago, who is native to it for generations, does not have my pigmentation. I have learned, by experience and observation, that women is as wise as men. They are delightfully different than men, and they have a different role in raising a family. We have learned as a culture, in our lifetime, that women is as capable of leadership as men. The instinct for liberty is what makes God's gifts to us enjoyable. The balance of liberty and our responsibility to others is where wisdom is found.
