19. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My walk with God stands witness to the fact that while I may stumble along the way, God has consistently blessed me for doing nothing more than striving to honor Him in my daily walk. As a boy of 13, I was in an accident that left me in an Intensive Care Unit for several months. This experience introduced me to God as I witnessed the love and care of caring and compassionate people. Even though I was left with a permanent injury, I would not change a thing. I was reared by a single mother who struggled to care for me and my siblings in an environment where the thought of education beyond high school wasn’t even a consideration. Because of the accident, my life’s path changed to include higher education and personal relationships that blessed me and gave me a future I could never have imagined. As a 50 year old, I can reflect on my accomplishments as a businessman and father and confidently witness that God has been the guiding hand in allowing me these blessings. While my life and
