14. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.

1. Entitlement spending - It's time to get serious about curbing the fraud and waste in our entitlement programs that reward people for not working. This redistribution of wealth is hurting the middle class and our economy. It's time to seriously reduce the size of our federal government by eliminating and/or reforming many entitlement programs. 2. Repeal of Obamacare- This enormous redistribution of wealth hurts our young people, the middle class. Additionally, it is the biggest job killer, will ruin the American healthcare sector and will destroy our chance of an economic recovery. 3. Deregulation- Our federal government continues to over reach and regulate every aspect of our daily lives. Compliance costs burden our energy, financial services and healthcare sectors, hinder the growth of small business and cost our taxpayers millions in wasteful spending.

15. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?

Yes, abortion should be allowed when the mother's life is in danger or the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest. I also think if a child is raped or sexually abused and that abuse results in a pregnancy, then abortion may be warranted.

16. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.

God, Constitution, Voters, Congress, Supreme Court

17. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a devout Christian who was raised in the Catholic Church. I am also a fiscal conservative and believe in personal financial responsiblity and not spending beyond one's means. I believe in hard work and personal sacrifice. I am grateful for the gifts and talents that God has bestowed upon me and I try to live each day never taking these blessings for granted. In addition to my faith, my husband, children and family are most important to me. I believe that the family unit is the key to a successful society- that teaching begins in the home and that children are best raised in a stable two parent home. I am honest. I believe taking full responsibility for mistakes and actions and not making excuses. I believe that we are accountable for our actions and our elected officals should always be accountable to us.
