18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My grandfather was a Baptist Preacher, known Bible teacher and theologian in the Texas Gulf coast area back in the 1940s-60's. Our entire family for several generations was church going, God fearing people. My parents had me late in life, which gave me the privilege of being raised by the Greatest Generation. Even though I am just 45, my father fought in WWII and mother, who has advanced dementia and we take care of at home is now 89. We were raised in a company owned Sulphur mining town of Newgulf, Tx. A very idyllic upbringing kind of like a "Leave it to Beaver" meets "Mayberry". A very old fashioned upbringing, unique for someone of my generation. I was saved at age 10, but at age 18 reconfirmed my prior salvation. As many go down the wrong road, I went off to college taking a different path deepening my walk with the Lord, which influenced my world view politically, becoming a staunch conservative ideologue like Reagan.I've been an active member of Second Baptist and a gospel quar
