18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Baptized Catholic and still attend Catholic service. I believe God is the ultimate judge of our character and only he can define whether or not we have lived a righteous or moral life, not any government or political group. I believe that the government lacks authority to define religion or religious beliefs, but when we use religion as a political tool, then we open ourselves up to all religions (and non religions) whether they are consistent with traditional Christian views or not. And these views must be included in any legislative discourse as they are the populous that we as leaders, represent.
