14. Briefly list three (3) political or legislative issues of most concern to you, and explain why each is important to you.
1. The IRS and the tax code has so many people a under government control. The Tax Code is complicated so the government can control and silence who they need to. We need to move to a fair tax system. A consumption tax is the only tax a free society pays. 2. The Federal Reserve System has to be reformed and audited at the very least. The American people paying interest on our own money is absurd. The control that this private bank has on the US and the world is scary and it should end. The US has many options to replace the Federal Reserve. We can go back to a private banking system that has no government involvement and use a gold and silver standard for our money. This would be one of the biggest boosts to the economy that the government has ever done. 3. The Department of Education in Washington has to be shut down. We need schools back in the hands of the local communities.
15. Should abortion be allowed under extenuating circumstances? If so, what circumstances?
The protection of life is essential. An abortion should never be legal under any circumstance. An abortion is when you rip a baby apart inside the mother's womb, killing it, then pull it out and make sure it is dead. That is an abortion and there exists no reason to do so, ever. What some people call an abortion, and I do not, is when the life of the mother hangs in the balance of the pregnancy. I never want to be in that situation, but the family has the right and moral obligation to make a choice between mother and baby in those rare instances.
16. Based on the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, please arrange the following entities, starting with the highest source of authority, and continue the list in descending order of authority, skipping any that do not apply: Academia, Congress, Constitution, God, Industry, Media, Professional Sports, Supreme Court, Voters.
God, Voters, Constitution, then Congress and Supreme Court are equal. None of the others have power inside those documents. Free enterprise is not an agent of the government, and freedom of press gives the media no authority in government.
17. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." NASB That verse sums up my spiritual beliefs. My values are simple, talk is cheap. Show the world the love and compassion of Christ, walk in the Truth even when it is hard, and never compromise on your freedom because government will be hard pressed to ever give them back.
